We went over a crest, it was a quick corner and was actually a big crest and it dropped away and because I was being a little cautious I got a little wide and got into the marbles and the car just spun so I lost 10 or 15 seconds there, but the rest of the stage was really good it was a lot of fun.”

Quite a challenge at this time of the morning, and on the third day to have some of these tougher stages on the rally, but its good, it’s enjoyable. Some of the corners are really slippery; some are nice and grippy so we drove a little bit conservative just trying to make sure we get to the end there. It was fun, we’re really enjoying it.”

Info 23. 06. 15:16 RZ 15 wrc BLOCK K. / GELSOMINO A. (st. č. 43) “That was a really really challenging stage, especially with a fresh coat of rain on it, so I’m really happy to be done with this day. It is tricky in spots but one of the best days rallying I have ever had, these stages are awesome! I made one mistake in a spectator area, the rear got a little too loose and I spun so kind of disappointing to have one mistake today.”
Info 23. 06. 14:59 RZ 14 wrc BLOCK K. / GELSOMINO A. (st. č. 43) “I can honestly say that was the funnist stage of the entire rally for me! It’s still a lot of grip, especially being able to slide it into those cambers, just incredible fun so we're doing ok. Beat Ketomaa in that one, so happy about that and hopefully still gaining on Araujo; so I think I’m down to about 40 seconds before this stage so, I think he’s got a problem so I’m gonna make up as much as I can before we get back to service. I definitely think the hard tyres are the way to go on these hard surfaces as they worked exceptionally well for me right there.”

It’s pretty slippery but kind of flat not like the camber the other stages had. The beginning was a lot of fun. I did this stage and another stage in 2007 when I raced here in the championship. A lot of fun. The car feels great and looking forward to the rest of the day.”

(st. č. 43) “A lot more confidence in the car what we are doing today, these roads are just so amazing it is so much fun to throw the cars into these corners and really lean on the tyres. I’m really enjoying it and my times are right there with Jari Ketomaa, another excellent Finnish driver.”

(st. č. 43) “Quite amazing, have the confidence from yesterday and able to really throw the car into the corners and trust what it’s going to be able to do so just two seconds off Jari; he is a great driver who I’m watching behind me today and I don’t want him to catch me so nice to know I got some speed and really looking forward to the rest of the day especially if it’s going to be like that.”

Those stages are so fun and I wish we could do one more loop. Tomorrow is another good day though and I am looking forward to it.”

I am sweating quite a bit. I am having fun battling with Manfred Stohl because I remember watching him for a lot of years when I was younger.”

Both of us haven’t been in the car for a while so it’s kind of fun to compare times with him but I think he beat me by a second in there. The soft tyres give us a lot more grip.”

Unfortunately I made a little mistake trying to figure out some of the braking points, I kept braking a little too early or a little too late and I hit the brakes just a little bit too late on one - went a little wide so lost a little bit of time there. But these stages they’re just amazing; it is so worth being here at this rally and we’re really glad we came.”

The stage is amazing and my notes were ok but I wish I had been a little less optimistic, it’s pretty tight and twisty in there but good fun.”
