The big big fight with Mikko for the weekend was not easy, but we are here now at the end of the rally. We made two mistakes in the power stage, pushing a bit too hard and I went wide two or three times so we took one point but it is more important to win here.”

We tried to keep a good rhythm to keep a good concentration because it’s not easy in these conditions, so I am feeling really good with the car everything is okay. We will see about power stage, I will drive how I feel, no pressure. If I feel it well, why not. If I don’t feel ok I prepare for them to secure the victory.”

It was strange to run with hard tyres in the front and soft in the rear but in the final pass it felt good. I was felling good with myself and it allowed me to push really hard. Our position this morning was good. Even Jari-Matti’s 13th position was not bad but our position was better.”

If I put one on the front it would be completely destroyed so I decided to put the two hard on the front and expected to be aggressive to warm up the tyres a little in the mud.”

So far the soft tyre is the best choice for the first two stages but the next one we will look but by the end I am not sure. We will see what the condition is but if it is like this then it will suit the hard for sure. We may have to save the soft tyre also because tomorrow or Sunday it might be raining.”
